Cardinal Land Conservancy to Create Urban Green Spaces in Cincinnati – Sierra Club Educational Forum
When: Monday, October 6, meet and greet 6:30 PM, program begins at 7:00 PM.
Where: Mt. Auburn Presbyterian Church, Geier Room, 103 William Howard Taft Road, Cincinnati. Free parking behind church. Or register to attend virtually here
Please join us to hear Andy Dickerson, Executive Director Cardinal Land Conservancy, tell us about the Conservancy’s plans to transform a vacant 7-acre lot at Marshall and McMicken Avenues into a conservation and sustainability hub. The site will restore natural habitats, create space for community gardens, and host environmental programs in partnership with local groups, including the Civic Garden Center and Adventure Crew.
Restoring this property will be central to the organization’s larger vision of protecting more natural spaces in neighborhoods disproportionately affected by pollution and climate change, especially near schools.
