JUNE 3 - 9, 2027
From June 3-9, 2027, Greater Cincinnati is coming together for a week of climate action.
Cincinnati Climate Week is a regionwide, community-powered effort to connect the people, organizations, and ideas already building a more resilient, sustainable future.
It’s a year-long effort that comes together in one week, from neighborhood events to business roundtables, and it’s open to everyone. Whether you’re a student, a small business owner, a city leader, an advocate, a neighbor who cares, or someone who’s just getting started, there’s a place for you.
Now in our second year, we’re growing fast and building toward something big. The week closes on June 9 with the Midwest Regional Sustainability Summit. Join us, host an event, and sign up to be the first to hear what’s coming!
Get Involved in CCW
Cincinnati Climate Week is run by volunteer planners who make getting involved in regional climate action possible.
Join us in helping community members organize events, spread awareness about CCW, and strategize ways to get more people involved!
Give your organization prominent brand recognition as a champion of sustainability by sponsoring a Greater Cincinnati week of action.
Be a part of a movement that brings thousands of people across 11 counties together to create a stronger foundation for climate education, sustainable action, and stronger connections.
We will be opening event submissions in December, 2026.
Attending an event is a great way to learn about sustainability and meet the people doing the hands-on work of making our region safe, healthy, and resilient.
Stay tuned for our Cincinnati Climate Week calendar, launching in April, 2027.

Help us grow our impact
Sponsors and donors keep Cincinnati Climate Week running: the calendar, the website, and the support that helps organizers bring their events to life.
Climate change is global, but climate action is often local. That’s why I helped launch Cincinnati climate week - to give people a doorway into a conversation that can otherwise feel too big to touch. And of course, not everyone will care about every piece of the climate puzzle, but if one event, one issue, one moment speaks to them, they can be activated. That’s the power of building something local, from the ground up.

Joining the CCW planning committee alongside Green Umbrella genuinely lit something up in me. Being part of this team gave me hope I didn't realize I was missing. It's so easy to get stuck in the day-to-day and feel like nothing's changing, but the truth is, things are changing, and for the better. I met incredible people and organizations through this work, folks who are truly showing up to make a difference, and seeing how our city showed up and showed out made the months of planning and execution completely fulfilling. What also made the experience so meaningful wasn't just what we accomplished with CCW, but the trust and collective energy that's being nurtured with each other and within our communities. I loved every moment of contributing to CCW, and I can't wait to see where the next few years take us. A Green Greater Cincinnati is well on the way, we're just getting started."
