Ohio Sips & Soils: A Cincinnati Compost Crawl

Come celebrate Ohio Soil Health Week by digging into Cincinnati’s compost scene! We will spend the afternoon exploring how scraps get turned into soil at Common Orchard’s Camp Washington Perennial Farm with a guided tour from Farm Manager, Mel. Afterwards, you can join Julia from Queen City Commons on a walking tour of Northside’s compost drop off points. Wrap up the night with a well-earned drink alongside food system partners at Urban Artifact, courtesy of Ohio Organics Council.

Event Schedule:
3:00 PM: Tour Camp Washington Perennial Farm’s ASP composting site with Mel
4:30 PM: Walk through QCC’s Northside drop-off sites with Julia (~45 min)
5:15 PM: Happy hour at Urban Artifact, drinks on OHOC
