Soft Edges features six regional women artists whose practices challenge the traditional divide between fine art and craft. Grounded in tradition, material, and environment, the exhibition embraces slower, hands-on approaches to creating that challenge Western hierarchies of art in the modern era.

These works reconnect audiences with deeply human traditions, highlighting artistic practices that carry forward—and re-imagine—forgotten arts. Curated by Devan Horton, the exhibition brings together artists whose work reflects a shared commitment to material knowledge, sustainability, and regional identity, positioning craft-based practices as both culturally vital and conceptually rigorous within contemporary art.
