Nest Box Monitoring

Who’s building that nest, you ask? Is it a bluebird, a Tree Swallow, a chickadee? So many species rely on nest boxes and cavities for raising their young — join us on a 1 mile hike to find out who might be using the nest boxes at Fernald. If we’re lucky, we might even get the opportunity to band some nestlings! Preregistration is required.
