Meet a Greenspace Hiking Series: Bender Mountain Autumnal Hike

Join Green Umbrella’s Greenspace Alliance and Western Wildlife Corridor for a guided late-autumn hike on Friday, November 8th from 3-4:30 p.m. The hike will be held at Western Wildlife Corridor’s Bender Mountain Preserve located at 6320 Bender Rd. in Cincinnati OH 45233.

Come enjoy the beautiful fall leaves, gorgeous views of the Ohio River, and an energizing hike!  Western Wildlife Corridor Executive Director, Matt Trokan, will lead the 2.3-mile hike that winds through shaded forest and hillside above the river valley.  He will discuss their habitat restoration efforts, local history, and future plans for habitat restoration. Please wear sturdy walking shoes and note that the terrain of the hike is can rocky and steep, with benches present throughout the hike for rest stops.
