Give a Hoot for Oxbow – Spring River Sweep!

Join Oxbow, Inc. and Greenspace Alliance for the 2026 Give a Hoot for Oxbow – Volunteer Series!
This series will include monthly opportunities to volunteer at the Oxbow Nature Conservancy and make a positive difference for wetlands! Each event will focus on a specific task related to habitat restoration. Projects may include but are not limited to invasive plant removal, native plantings, river sweeps, and other clean-up activities.
We hope you will join us for the first series event, Give a Hoot for Oxbow – Spring River Sweep! Help Oxbow, Inc. clean up flood debris at the Oxbow Nature Conservancy on April 25th, 2026, from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
We will meet at the South Entrance of Oxbow Nature Conservancy. There is no exact address for this entrance, but you can use these directions to locate it:
- Head south onto Hollywood Blvd. towards the casino
- Use the left lane, follow the casino signs for the “annex receiving”
- Once over the levee, take the gravel drive on the left before the railroad crossing
- Follow the gravel road to the parking area ahead.
