No matter what you’re able to give, your gift matters - especially if you’re able to sign up for a recurring gift. By giving a little bit at a time over time, you’ll make it easier on yourself AND give more!
Everyone wants to support their favorite causes as much as they can. If we could, we’d all give boatloads of money – and for those that can, great! But for those of us on the smaller end of the contribution spectrum, comparing your gift to the bigger fish out there can feel like you’re not making a difference.
No matter what you’re able to give, your gift matters – especially if you’re able to sign up for a recurring gift. Not everyone can give $50 at once, but most can give $5 a month, and that $5 recurring donation will have an even BIGGER impact over the year. By giving a little bit at a time over time, you’ll make it easier on yourself AND give more!
Green Umbrella relies on donations to keep our programs and services running, and keeping services consistent is easier when funding is consistent. That’s why monthly recurring donations have such an impact – it’s not just the amount that helps the organization, it’s the consistent stream of revenue. Knowing that your recurring gift is going to come in next month is a huge help!
Green Umbrella has a generous challenge match of up to $15,000 for our Spring Fundraising Campaign. This means that not only will your one-time gifts be doubled, but your recurring monthly gifts will be doubled through the end of 2024. So if you start a recurring donation in April, your support for the rest of the year would look like:
$5 a month = $90 impact for the year
$10 a month = $180 impact for the year
$25 a month = $450 impact for the year
$50 a month = $900 impact for the year
Donating to Green Umbrella Regional Climate Collaborative means:
