Join us at the Cincinnati Observatory as we celebrate the magic of pi (π) with an evening of fun for all ages.
Uncover the secrets of pi: Explore how this incredible number has shaped our understanding of the universe through engaging presentations and interactive demonstrations. The Event will take you all around the Observatory with out-of-this-world prizes for those who finish our scavenger hunt. Weather permitting, gaze through our historic telescopes and witness the wonders of the cosmos.

Pi day just wouldn’t be complete without a pie in the face!
Our staff members are crazy for pie. You can donate to the Observatory using our new Venmo account – @cincyobs. The top 3 staff members with the most money will receive a whipped cream pie in the face, and the additional fun part is that those who donate $5+ (and hold a valid entry ticket to the Pi day event) will be entered into a drawing to throw the pie!
Be sure to enter your Pi(e) “target” in the memo line when donating. Choose from Dr. Wes, Anna, Mika, Nicole, Natalia, or Mandy.
