PAW in the Outdoors

Fresh air, the calming sounds of nature and your furry friend by your side…what could be better? But before you hit the trails and pop up the tent, it is important you know the basics of how to prepare for these excursions, keep your dog safe and make it enjoyable. Women Sharing the Outdoors is delighted to offer “PAWS in the Outdoors” a one day, 5 hour indoor seminar/workshop for outdoor loving women (ages 16 and up) onsite at the Izaak Walton League of America, Mt. Healthy Chapter located at 3504 Bevis Lane, 45251 in Colerain Township. A $15 non-refundable fee is required for attendance.
Audience participation, sharing experiences and asking questions is encouraged as participants learn: + appropriate equipment and supplies such as collars, leashes, crates, beds, and traveling needs. + maintaining body space + basic obedience/manners such as heel, sit, come, down and emergency down. + tips for choosing the right dog appropriate for your outdoor interests and hobbies + and more!
