Bills passed at the state level directly impact every person in Ohio, yet few citizens follow their progress through the legislative bodies. The Legislative Action Committee of the Sierra Club Ohio Chapter is equipped to monitor, research, and disseminate information about the bills that have the most impact on the environment. We help people to engage directly with their elected officials to have dialogs about pending legislation. Building these relationships over time is our best chance of wielding influence to stop the bad bills and promote the good ones.
