Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalist Course
As a nature lover, you might have heard the buzz about OSU’s Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalist Program. If you’ve been thinking about signing up, but not sure when to fit it into your schedule, consider the all-online winter cohort starting this January!
Th winter cohort schedule offers a lot of flexibility and can be done from anywhere as long as you have a computer. The evening lectures are live on Zoom, where you can talk with presenters and classmates in the comfort of your own home. No winter weather advisories will stop this class! The required 12 hours of homework will get you outside, anywhere in Ohio, whenever you choose.
What to Expect:
The Winter Cohort is all live online, every Tuesday and Thursday night from 6–8 pm on Zoom starting Tuesday, January 14 and ending Thursday, February 27, 2025.
12 hours of fun self-guided outdoor assignments are also required.

Cost: $300 includes OSU certification fees and all required reading materials.
