Join us at 7:30 pm for a special talk by Dr. Wes Ryle, the new astronomer at the Cincinnati Observatory.
Rain or shine. Public stargazing afterward is the weather cooperates at the Fred Bay Observatory at Hisey Park.
This event is open to the public and FREE to attend. We look at many different objects throughout the night and with each event we explore different areas of the night sky.
The observatory is an outdoor facility, so visitors should dress for the weather; bring a lawn chair and bug spray for activities during warm evenings.
Weather dependent: The observatory will be open for public viewing when the weather cooperates. If we cannot use the large main telescope because of rain, snow or cloudy conditions, we will offer a virtual night sky tour.
