Meet A Greenspace Hike with Cincinnati Parks and C4H

Join Green Umbrella’s Greenspace Alliance, Cincinnati Parks, and the Cincinnati Center for Collaboration on Climate and Community for Health (C4H) at Badgley Run Park for a Meet A Greenspace Hike on Friday, August 29th from 3-4:30 pm!
Located in the residential Northside District of Hamilton County, Ohio, Badgley Run is an urban, 16-acre park that had been previously slated for development. Cincinnati Parks, along with other regional partners, are responsible for managing this little-known greenspace.
The Center for Collaboration on Climate and Community for Health, also known as C4H, is a newly established center at the University of Cincinnati. Founded in 2024, C4H is among an elite group of 21 centers nationwide with a specific focus on climate change and the impacts to human health.
This Meet A Greenspace Hike will be a unique opportunity to explore an urban greenspace alongside scientists who are working to understand and reduce the impacts of climate change on vulnerable populations.
Please dress accordingly, wear proper shoes for hiking, and bring plenty of water! We will meet at the Cincinnati Parks Kiosk at the end of Badgley St. The Park is located at 4300 Badgley St., Cincinnati, OH, 45223*. Street parking is available on Badgley St. and Martha St.
*Note that there are TWO entrances to the Park. The entrance that we will be using is at the end of Badgley St.!
If you have any questions, contact Greenspace Alliance Manager, Claire Carlson, at claire@greenumbrella.org.
The Greenspace Alliance would also like to thank their sponsors, Duke Energy and the Cincinnati Wildflower Preservation Society, for making these events possible.
