Escape Room & Nature CSI FUN for Tweens/Teens
March 17, 2024 @ 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm
$5
The Hamilton Chapter of the Izaak Walton League of America (IWLA) is excited to create FUN educational programs in 2024 that will be enticing for children ages 11 – 15.
In our first program this year, we are partnering with Escape Goatz at 309 Court Street in Hamilton on Sunday, March 17 for a three hour evening program from 1:30 – 4:30pm. The participants will:
– play a “people bingo” game to encourage introductions between the tween/teens and adult chaperones.
– experience one of two escape rooms (Diamond Heist and Space Invasion) and solve the series of puzzles or clues within the 60 minute game time. Both rooms have activities associated with nature that are condusive with the mission of IWLA.
– gain knowledge of animal tracks, variety and function of feathers and fur, scat and other animal signs then work together to solve a pretend “predator vs prey” scene….a Nature Critter Scene Investigation.
– enjoy light snacks at the evening’s end as they share their thoughts on the program and brainstorm ideas for future programs.
Our amazing partner, Escape Goatz, is offering a discounted price of $19.98 per child BUT YOU ARE ONLY REQUESTED TO PAY $5.00 with the rest of the fee covered by grant funding from the IWLA Ohio Division. There are only 25 spots available.
Parents/Guardians will need to complete a liability waiver and photo release form included in this online registration. We request that you register just your children or grandchildren; not those of friends or neighbors. Each child needs to be registered separately.
