Green Umbrella’s monthly sustainability happy hour is back! Join us on Thursday, February 22nd at New Riff Distilling’s newly renovated Aquifer Bar in Newport, KY, for an evening of informal networking.

New Riff sources the water for their whiskey from an aquifer directly beneath the distillery. The consistent, cool temperature of this water helps save energy by reducing the need for water-cooling equipment in the production process. New Riff prioritizes local sourcing, with most of its grains coming from farmers in Southeast Indiana. The Aquifer Tasting Room features food from Findlay Market and Incubator Kitchen Collective vendors. And, their gift shop features items from local, women, and minority-owned businesses and uses recycled shipping materials for all orders.
