FREE Tour of Cincinnati Recycling & Reuse Hub

Are you a “sometimes recycler” but want to be an “active recycler”? Are you wanting to increase what can get reused or recycled in your home vs what goes in the garbage? Are you looking for a place to donate reusable items or need for low cost, quality materials for a DIY project?

A visit to the Cincinnati Recycling & Reuse Hub on Friday, April 19 from 4 – 5:30pm will open your eyes to the magnitude of items that can be recycled at their site for FREE and a warehouse filled with reusable items for school, work, home & outdoor projects.

Located near the Museum Center, it is a one-stop INDOOR drop off location in the center of Cincinnati for hard to recycle recyclables such as styrofoam carryout, plastic utensils, all sorts of plastic bags, silica packages, wine corks, twistees, to name just a few.

From the large to very small, there is probably a marked bin to put it in at the Hub. And lots of knowledgeable and friendly volunteers in green shirts to help. Since 2021, they have reused or recycled over 200 tons of material, keeping it out of our growing landfills!

In respect to Women Sharing the Outdoors (WSO) mission of female encouragement and involvement, this will only be available to female participants. Therefore, we welcome all women, daughters, mothers, grandmothers, aunts, and sisters alike, 16 years or older.
