Fossil Program with Jack Berninger

Join Jack Berninger on November 7th from 1 to 3 p.m. at Kirby Nature Center for an afternoon of fossil exploration! This family friendly program offers a chance to learn about fossils and discover what they can reveal about Earth’s history.

We’ll start with a brief introduction before heading to the dry creek bed to search for fossils. Along the way, you’ll learn how fossils form, what they can tell us about the past, and what kinds of fossils can be found throughout our region.
