Fiber Arts Series: Crochet Mushrooms

Registration Requirements: Preregistration required.

Intended Audience: This program is designed for adults with basic crochet knowledge. Stitches that guests need to be familiar with: chain, single crochet, crochet increase, crochet decrease, and back loop only crochet.

Program Description: Join a Front Desk Naturalist as we take a short hike to look for and identify mushrooms. We’ll then gather in the woods to crochet a mushroom.

What to Expect: Basic crochet knowledge required. Materials provided. Stitches that guests need to be familiar with: chain, single crochet, crochet increase, crochet decrease, and back loop only crochet.

This program is entirely outdoors.
Program runs rain or shine. If it is raining, we will head inside for the crochet portion.
Trails/areas used during this program are rated as easy (mild hills, gravel trails) for a planned distance of 0.25-0.5 mile.
Restrooms are not available on the trails. Restrooms are available at the start and end of the program.
What to Bring: Bring your own 5.5mm hook or borrow one of ours to borrow. All materials will be provided.

What to Wear: Dress for the weather, as we will be outside.

Cost: Ticket fees include daily admission.
