Fall Native Plant Festival
September 7 @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
FreeThe Civic Garden Center’s Fall Native Plant Festival includes local growers, educational sessions, live music, food and drinks, kid-friendly activities and more. Whether you don’t know what a native plant is or have been growing them for years, this free, multi-vendor celebration of all things native plants is for you!
We’ll have native plants from local growers, including the Civic Garden Center, Cincinnati Nature Center, Cincinnati Permaculture Institute, Green Living by Design, June Bug Native Plants, Keystone Flora Native Plants, Native Roots Landscaping, Natives in Harmony, Nature’s Haven Nursery, Our Land Organics, UC Horticulture Club and more. You’ll be able to find everything from native perennials to woody trees and shrubs. Throughout the day, we’ll feature educational speakers who will present on topics related to native plants and the infinite benefits they can offer people living in urban and suburban areas.
And of course, we’ll have fun for the whole family! Grab lunch from a food truck, enjoy a cold beer, enter our raffle or do a fun activity with your little one. Several local Cincinnati-area musicians will be performing throughout the day. Need a place to leave your new plants while you enjoy the festival? Take advantage of our free Plant Sitters service!
