Conversations Ala Carte

Imagine a book club without books. Your own think-tank. A circle of friendships, deepening through discussions about social and environmental topics you each bring to the table. You and others in a small group share experiences, knowledge, questions and perspectives in conversations over dinner that leave you feeling enriched and better informed.

Most of us want meaningful connection with others, but if we believe that differences of opinion lead to conflict, we may not reach out. This is a problem for the environment because conservation issues require shared understandings of problems and needs. From HOAs to zoning commissions to board rooms, shared discourse is essential to being an effective citizen and advocate for nature. How can we gain the confidence to engage?

Conversations Ala Cart is a series of three one-hour coaching sessions with information on how you might form a “table group” (think of it as a book club without books). This is a fun and low-commitment way to broaden your social circles in ways that bring substance, connection and inspiration to your interactions.

Between session 2 and 3, we’ll invite you to think of a few people who might contribute to good dinner conversation about meaningful topics. In session three we’ll ask you about your experience.

Zoom Information: This will be a live, virtual program on the Zoom meeting platform. Your link to attend the meeting will be sent immediately after registering in a follow-up email.
