Cleanup of the Banks of the Ohio river

In celebration of Earth Day, please join Reef Expeditions as we remove debris from the banks of the Ohio River. Together, we’ll work along the riverbank to help protect our waterways and prevent plastic pollution from reaching the ocean. Please wear long-sleeved shirts, pants, and stable shoes for safety, and bring water, work gloves, nets, and grabber poles to aid in our cleanup efforts. Your participation is crucial in safeguarding aquatic ecosystems, as nearly 8 trillion tons of plastic has already impacted our waters, causing unnecessary wildlife mortality.
