Breathing Easy: A Workshop on Air Quality in Greater Cincinnati

June 11 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

This workshop is co-hosted by Green Umbrella and Cincinnati Museum Center as part of Greater Cincinnati Climate Week.

Air quality plays a critical role in the health and well-being of our communities. Poor air quality can contribute to asthma, heart and lung disease, missed school and work days, and other health challenges, particularly among children, older adults, and vulnerable populations. Across the Greater Cincinnati region, community organizations, researchers, local governments, and residents are working together to better understand air quality impacts and identify solutions.

This workshop will highlight key findings from regional climate and health studies, explore ongoing initiatives such as the Green Heart Project, BREATHE Network, and Avondale Greenspace Project, and discuss practical actions that individuals, institutions, and communities can take to improve air quality and create healthier neighborhoods.
