Discussion will be led by: Ted Burgh, Co-Leader of the Advocacy Working Group of FCGG
Paul Kingsnorth’s Against the Machine: On the Unmaking of Humanity argues that modern techno-capitalism is destroying human nature, replacing organic life with a mechanical, centralized, and spiritual wasteland. He argues that technological advancements (AI, screens) act as “spiritual weapons” dismantling essential human connections to land, heritage, and the divine.
