Bird Banding with Adam McCosham

Get an up close look at bird banding with licensed bird bander Adam McCosham on October 10th from 8 to 11 a.m. at Kirby Nature Center.

See wild birds up close as they are identified, aged, weighed, measured, and safely banded before being released. You’ll also learn how bird banding helps scientists understand bird populations, migration, and conservation.
