Biomimicry Mobility Workshop

Join the City of Cincinnati Innovation Team for a half-day workshop at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden exploring nature-inspired solutions to our city’s toughest transportation & mobility challenges.
Biomimicry is the practice of looking to nature as inspiration for human invention and systems, and it’s already common in the transportation space. For example, the Kingfisher bird inspired the design of high-speed trains in Asia, and slime mold intelligence has been used in labs to inform transit maps. This is your chance to work with professionals from across disciplines to apply those design strategies to Cincinnati-specific transportation and mobility challenges. Nature has been solving movement & connectivity challenges for millions of years. Let’s learn from nature & get Cincinnati more connected.
