Annual Picnic – Sierra Club Miami Group

The Miami Group annual picnic will be held at the Izaak Walton League on Sunday, August 18th at 544 Branch Hill-Loveland Road 45140. You can join a cycling outing early in the day, bring your kayak or canoe for a paddle on the Wild & Scenic Little Miami River, or come later for games, food and fun. We’ll have special guest entertainment provided by Dale August in the early evening while you enjoy socializing with fellow Sierrans. Please bring the food you want to eat or grill and a potluck dish to share.
Schedule of activities:
1:00 – 3:00 Group Bike Ride (or enjoy hiking or kayaking on your own!)
3:00 – 4:30 Visiting, games (cornhole, giant Jenga, other games
4:30 Start the grill and potluck
6:30 – 8:15 Music by special guest Dale August and the One-Eyed Jacks
Members and non-members alike are welcome! Volunteers to help grill and serve would be greatly appreciated. Contact Chris Curran at currancp@gmail if you’d like to help.
