An Herbalist’s Garden: Medicinal Plant ID and Usage

Join the CGC and local herbalist Meghan Henshaw in the Melrose Medicinal Garden in Walnut Hills as Meghan explains how to identify over 20 different types of perennial medicinal plants that flourish in urban gardens. She will discuss the diverse therapeutic actions of plants such as valerian, motherwort, holy basil, comfrey and ashwaganda as attendees experience the plants in a thriving community garden. Herbal iced tea will be provided.
