Shawnee Lookout Tree Nut Planting

The Nature Conservancy is partnering with Great Parks of Hamilton County to restore the streams at Shawnee Lookout and reforest the park. All fall we’ve collected gallons of native tree nuts, now we need help getting them in the ground! You can help by joining us at Shawnee Lookout Park on Saturday, 11/15 to plant acorns, black walnuts, hickories, and more! We’ll also take you on a behind-the-scenes tour of the ongoing stream restoration project. This volunteer activity is most suitable for ages 5+.
