Hands in the Land: Garden Preparation & Seed Starting

Guests learn the basics of and discuss the scientific principles behind common garden preparation techniques, including clearing, seed starting, fertilizing, and which crops are best planted in early vs. late spring. Reference will be made to what can be reconstructed of Fort Ancient/Eastern Woodland clearing & planting techniques where possible. Will take place at GAP.
