Dandelion Ink Making
Registration Requirements: Preregistration required.
Intended Audience: This family-friendly program is designed for adults and/or families with children 5 and older. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Program Description: We’re turning “”weeds”” into art! In this hands-on program, we’ll take a look at different natural inks and learn how to turn this ubiquitous spring plant into material for your next art project!
Perfect for artists or those just interested in learning about natural inks, this program will show the start-to-finish process of turning plant material into an interesting, usable ink. While we wait for our ink to process, we’ll take a look at other natural ink options and test them out on greeting cards.
What to Expect: This class includes a short walk to gather materials.
This program is entirely outdoors.
Restrooms are available at the start and end of the program. Restrooms are not available on the trails.
Trails/areas used during this program are rated as accessible (packed gravel trails, mild hills) for a planned distance of less than 1 mile at a slow pace.
Program runs rain or shine.
What to Wear: Consider wearing old clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty.
Where to Meet: Registered participants will meet at the pavilion outside the PlayScape at our Rowe Woods location. (4949 Tealtown Road, Milford, OH 45150)
