13th Annual Upper Mill Creek Cleanup

On Saturday, October 18th, we’ll clean up the Mill Creek by land and canoe along the banks of the Mill Creek in Evendale near Cunningham Drive. Volunteers will meet at a Mill Creek Alliance restoration site at 9:00 a.m. where folks will be organized into teams to tackle various projects in the Upper Mill Creek watershed.

The land cleanup is suitable for people of all ages and activity levels. Land crews will be planting and caging trees, seeding stream banks, and removing invasive honeysuckle. Canoe volunteer spaces are limited and available only to members of the public age 18 or older.

All cleanup crews will meet back up around noon to unload their spoils, enjoy some food and refreshments, and tell grand stories of their exploits.
