Call for Proposals: 2024 Midwest Regional Sustainability Summit

Our 11th annual Midwest Regional Sustainability Summit will take place on May 2, 2024. Last year, the Summit theme focused on imagining visionary and inspiring possibilities that inform, empower, and motivate our actions to create a more vibrant, equitable, and thriving region. This year, building from a place of hope and renewed resilience, we will focus on aligning our collective efforts to move From Vision to Action.

We're thrilled to announce our 2024 keynote speaker, Jacqueline Patterson! Jacqui is the Founder and Executive Director of the Chisholm Legacy Project: A Resource Hub for Black Frontline Climate Justice Leadership and previously served as the Senior Director of the  NAACP Environmental and Climate Justice Program for over a decade.

Do you want to speak at the Summit? We invite proposals for panel discussions, interactive workshops, and short talks that explore this year’s theme. Learn more about our submission guidelines. We highly encourage submissions by 12/15 for early consideration.

Federal Funding Informational Webinar on November 15

The Greater Cincinnati Regional Food Policy Council invites you to a webinar on Federal Funding Opportunities for Climate and Food Systems Resilience.

Speakers from Michigan Sustainable Business Forum and the RE-AMP Network will discuss the federal investments to address climate change through the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, the Justice40 Initiative, and potentially the Farm Bill.

This education is a form of capacity-building we offer to our members so that together we can strategically utilize this investment collaboratively for wide benefit across our region.
