Hamilton Data Center Study Paused as Developer Weighs Future

A proposal for a data center in Hamilton faces uncertainty following the results of an impact study requested by the developer, Logistix. The study highlights challenges in meeting the project’s infrastructure and power requirements, with estimates showing it could take at least two years to deliver a fraction of the power originally proposed.

Local residents have voiced environmental, health, and energy concerns and continue to oppose the project. Logistix is expected to provide an update by the end of the month.
