Climate Safe Neighborhoods Partnership Engages 3 NKY Communities |
|
|
On July 25th, programming aimed at providing climate education and planning to at-risk neighborhoods in Northern Kentucky, presented the final workshop of three in the city of Dayton. The rivertown welcomed an engaged audience of passionate residents and partners, including Dayton Park Board, Tri-State Trails and the City of Dayton. To ensure deep collaboration, each workshop in the series was co-created with resident partners and local community-based organizations. The outcome was resident feedback into climate resiliency and community planning. Other communities engaged include the cities of Covington and Newport. Climate Safe Neighborhoods is a partnership of Green Umbrella and Groundwork Ohio River Valley.
