Volunteers Wanted: Help Tri-State Trails Tell the Story of Trail Use

Tri-State Trails and Interact for Health are seeking volunteers to help collect trail user intercept surveys in August through October. Help us gather qualitative data to tell the story of trail use in Greater Cincinnati. All volunteers will receive a Tri-State Trails Nalgene water bottle, a bike tire patch kit, and our eternal gratitude. Green Umbrella Seeks Communications & Program Manager: Applications Due Aug. 2

Green Umbrella is hiring! After 3+ years on the job, Amy Yokel will be leaving Green Umbrella to pursue new opportunities in the science world. ReSource will host this seminar on Wednesday, August 9, from 8:30 - 11:30 am. The Seminar will be presented by Dana Johnson from St. Elizabeth Heathcare. For more information, click here.

TRAINING: National Green Infrastructure Certification Program (NGICP). Training will be provided at the Civic Garden Center and modules are scheduled for Monday and Friday mornings from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm, starting on September 8 and ending on October 13. Each module will be facilitated by local GI professionals. This intense 35-hour course will cover background information in stormwater management and green infrastructure, materials used in GI practices and systems, safety and site management. GRANT OPPORTUNITY: Duke Energy Foundation.
 
The Duke Energy Foundation actively works to strengthen the quality of life in the communities they serve. They fund programs that support Duke Energy's philanthropic strategies, including the environment. The application period for environment grants takes place July - August.
