This week, lawmakers made additional changes that would completely eliminate current green energy and energy efficiency programs. Visit Green Umbrella member the Ohio Environmental Council to learn how you can make your voice heard on this issue.

Greenspace Gem Spotlight: Glidewell Mound

Built by the Adena people about 2100 years ago, Glidewell Mound is the remains of a Native American earthwork. The oval-shaped mound is located about mid-way around the two-mile Glidewell Trails in the Mounds State Recreation Area, and the greenspace around it features mature, second-growth upland forest and Brookeville Lake.

You can support Glidewell Mound by volunteering with Indiana's Department of Natural Resources or take the opportunity to visit during Free Fishing Weekend!
