Learn about Community Resilience at the Neighborhood Summit

Invest in Neighborhoods will host its annual Neighborhood Summit on Saturday, March 16. Each year over 300 community leaders, volunteers, city officials and non-profit professionals convene to learn how to improve the quality of life in our neighborhoods. This year the summit will explore how building resiliency into our plans and systems builds neighborhoods and communities that can thrive. The program and expo will feature several Green Umbrella members and staff.

Take the "Plant for Pollinators" Challenge

The challenge launched March 1st with a goal to register at least 500 pollinator gardens annually. To join the challenge, use the Zoo's resources to plan your own garden and locate stores stocked with pollinator-friendly plants!
