Kroger Added as Founding Member of Cincinnati 2030 District

Cincinnati Mayor John Cranley announced Kroger as the tenth Founding Member of the Cincinnati 2030 District at the state of the city address on Tuesday evening. With the addition of Kroger, the initiative meets its requirement of 10 initial founding members for national certification.

Cincinnati Bell also signed on to the district as a tenant, one of three other businesses to do so. The goal is for tenants to bring on the entire building of which they are a part as a member of the district.

By participating in the district, property owners agree to improve building health by collectively reducing energy usage, transportation emissions, and water consumption by 50% by 2030.
