During it's open hours, children can be found interacting with ambassador animals, craft-making, or in a safe space reading a nature-themed book. archery. Rooted in environmental justice and community-led initiatives, Sarah also established the Roselawn Community Garden adjacent to the center. In recognition of Sarah’s efforts to equip children with equitable access to outdoor spaces, she is the recent recipient of the National and Regional Outstanding New Interpreter and the NRPA 30 under 30 awards. Her dedication helps Cincinnati Public Schools in achieving the CPS Outside vision that all school children have equal access to outdoor experiences.
