DESCRIPTION:The Greater Cincinnati Earth Coalition\, in partnership with Duke Energy\, is proud to announce the launch of the Environmental Career Path Program at the Greater Cincinnati Earth Day Festival on April 26\, 2025\, at Summit Park in Blue Ash. This initiative aims to inspire and empower students to explore rewarding careers in environmental fields\, trades\, and professions\, addressing the growing demand for skilled professionals in the Green Jobs sector. \nCo-hosted by the Greater Cincinnati Environmental Educators\, ORSANCO and their Foundation for Ohio River Education (F.O.R.E.)\, Green Umbrella\, and the City of Cincinnati Office of Environment and Sustainability\, the event will feature interactive booths\, exhibits\, and career education opportunities. SUMMARY:Campbell County River Sweep
DESCRIPTION:The Ohio River Sweep is an annual cleanup that extends the entire length of the Ohio River. Since 1989\, ORSANCO has gathered thousands of volunteers across six bordering states that have come together to pick up trash along the river and its tributaries. \nVolunteers are provided with all supplies needed to clean up the riverside area\, including a FREE t-shirt. The 2024 Campbell County River Sweep is scheduled for Saturday\, May 25\, 10-12 PM\, at General James Taylor Park (100 Riverboat Row\, Newport\, KY 41071).

SUMMARY:Ohio River Sweep Cleanup - ORSANCO
DESCRIPTION:ORSANCO is hosting a season closing Ohio River Sweep litter clean up event on \nTuesday October 31st \n9:00-11:30 AM \nat Schmidt Boat Launch Ramp \n2944 Humbert Ave\, Cincinnati OH 45226 \nRefreshments in the morning prior to cleanup and a pizza lunch following the cleanup are provided. Registration required. \nOur Sweep program runs from March 1-October 31st annually and allows for flexibility in planning events. Groups and organizations are able to pick the time and location of their cleanup across the Ohio River Basin\, and our program provides free supplies including volunteer T-shirts\, trash bags\, and gloves. We ship all supplies prior to your event date free of charge.
