DESCRIPTION:Registration Requirements: Preregistration required. \nIntended Audience: This family-friendly program is designed for adults and/or families with children ages 6 and up. Children must be accompanied by an adult. \nProgram Description: Learn about the worldwide letterboxing hobby where folks create little pieces of artwork and hide them in the wild for you to find and stamp. We will make stamps\, journals\, and locate boxes hidden on our property. \nWhat to Expect: Older youth and adults will be carving stamps. Younger kids will make stamps from foam. \nProgram is mostly indoors with a short hike at the end.\nTrails/areas used during this program are rated as easy (mild hills\, gravel trails) for a planned distance of 0.25-0.5 mile.\nRestrooms are available at the start and end of the program. Restrooms are not available on the trails.\nProgram runs rain or shine.\nWhat to Wear: Please dress in layers to ensure proper warmth and comfort. \nWhere to Meet: Registered participants will meet in the Pine Room inside the Visitor Center at our Rowe Woods location. (4949 Tealtown Road\, Milford\, OH 45150) \nCost: Ticket fees include daily admission.

DESCRIPTION:RAPTOR Inc’s facilities are open to the public during our Open House Events and by appointment only. On the last Sunday of each month (March-November) from 1pm to 4pm our highly skilled educators will be available to welcome guests\, lead tours\, conduct educational programs with our avian ambassadors\, share biological artifacts\, and answer questions. You will have the opportunity to visit various educational stations where you can see and learn about the birds of prey native to our area and the work that RAPTOR Inc. does to protect these magnificent creatures. The Open Houses are FUN and FREE\, but DONATIONS are greatly appreciated! (Private tours and educational programs can still be scheduled at other times by appointment for a fee.)
