Organizer: Kenton County Parks & Recreation
Ever wonder what predatory birds come out after dark right here in this area? Join Kenton County Parks & Recreation for “Owl Prowl”, an interactive, after-dark program about owls that make Northern Kentucky their home. Dr. Tom Sproat from Critters in the Classroom will be leading the program at Middleton-Mills Park in Shelterhouse 2.
The program will explain how owls hunt and help maintain a healthy ecosystem. In addition to the educational program featuring live owls, guests will also go 'prowling' for owls that may use the park for their hunting grounds. Those attending should dress for a short trail hike.
Admission is free, but those attending are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food or personal care item donation for Be Concerned.
