Yoga is a form of exercise that incorporates mindful movement and meditation. Yoga not only strengthens and stretches the physical body, it also helps participants relax and experience peace of mind. By moving through a series of physical postures that connect breath and movement, participants will gain an understanding of vinyasa yoga as well as enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings. The goal of yoga is to connect body, mind and spirit. All levels are welcome to attend.
About the instructor: Brett Hornberger is a certified yoga instructor. After many years of being a competitive athlete, she found her yoga practice which has helped her connect with her physical body and helped her manage the stresses of daily life with more grace and ease. In 2014, she completed both a 300 hour foundational yoga training at World Peace Yoga and a 200 hour power yoga training at Move Your Hyde Power Yoga. She is currently working on my 500 hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training at World Peace Yoga. Her goal is to simply share the gift of yoga with others so that they can feel their best and spread compassion with each breath.
Minimum age for children attending with a parent: Children of any age are more than welcome with the understanding that it is an ADULT yoga class, so children under 13 years of age may not be able to do everything or stay interested in the class; adults will have to decide how much management of their children they are interested in doing.
How to dress: Participants should dress in layered, loose, comfortable athletic clothing. Jeans are NOT recommended.
What to bring: Guests should bring water, a small hand towel and a yoga mat.
Members $5 per participant. Nonmembers $14 per participant (includes admission).
