Organization: Gorman Heritage Farm

After training and shadowing, Education Volunteers lead groups of 10 children to specific stations around the Farm. There is a 15 minute lesson at each station. Of course, this is not a lecture but give-and-take with the children. Most tours include planting a seed, exploring the Children's Garden, learning about honey bees, meeting farmyard animals, grinding corn and feeding chickens. Learn more at
