    Red Bike and CityLink Center will announce a new partnership Thursday, Sept. 10, to make bike share more affordable for low-income individuals.Under the agreement, annual Red Bike memberships would be sold to CityLink for $20, whichtypically sell for $80.     The Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden's Base Camp Cafe has earned the "greenest restaurant in America" title for 2015 awarded by the Green Restaurant Association (GRA). Base Camp CafĂ© is located in the Zoo's Africa exhibit and sources 70% of its produce from vendors who are within 100-250 miles of the zoo. Much of it is grown at the Zoo-owned EcOhio farmland in Mason in partnership with Green Bean Delivery, which supplies the Zoo and  Zoo campers with organically-grown produce. A greenhouse just outside the restaurant provides year-round fresh vegetables through an aquaponics system. For more information, check out this article.

    The Invasive Species Walkabout is just around the corner! Join GU's Land Action Team on Tuesday, Sept. 8 from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm at Glenwood Gardens for a hike guided by the experts through the forests, prairies, and wetlands to observe and discuss invasive plants and how best to manage them. Lunch will be provided at a trailside scenic overlook. Tickets are $15 and include lunch. The deadline to purchase tickets is Sept. 3. Click here to register.
