Ian Privitera- Cincinnati State
Ian Privitera is a native Cincinnatian who lives in Clifton on Ludlow. A graduate of Walnut Hills High School, Ian entered the Sustainable Agriculture Management program at Cincinnati State and anticipates receiving his Associate degree by 2017. Ian used to work in landscaping, but has worked for three semesters at Bahr farm, integrating firsthand experience with his classes. Ian has been cooking in the kitchen since before he can remember. His grandmother and mother are both avid cooks, and his father is Italian, so food has always been a big part of his life. Although working in large scale market production agricultural and food systems is new for Ian, he says he has a high enough concentration of taste buds to be considered a "super taster!" Ian has played drums and percussion since the age of 8, and has performed with jazz groups around town.
