OKI Regional Council of Governments is seeking a qualified professional to perform computer programming, database design, and data analysis for the agency’s regional travel demand forecasting model. The candidate will assist with the creation, maintenance, analysis, debugging and streamlining of OKI’s transportation model and associated programs.

Qualifications: Master’s degree in urban planning, transportation engineering, computer science or related field. A combination of extensive experience and a Bachelor’s Degree may be substituted for the Master’s degree. Candidate should possess minimum of three to five years of experience with computer programming/ scripting and database design. Must be proficient in programming/ data analysis/ troubleshooting and extensive knowledge of languages (Visual Basic, Java, Python, R, JavaScript) and databases (Access, FoxPro, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL) and be capable of performing highly complex analysis. Experience with CT-RAMP activity based model and web development technologies are a plus.

Starting salary range is $55k – $60k; commensurate with experience; excellent benefits.
